Jobseekers and students in South Yorkshire are being offered the chance to put their experiences to good use and win a Dell netbook laptop in a competition being run by South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive’s (SYPTE) Access to Opportunities scheme.
The Access to Opportunities project was officially launched by SYPTE last year and offers public transport assistance to help people get to work, training and education. SYPTE is now offering individuals who have been helped by Access to Opportunities the chance to win this fantastic prize if they share their success stories.
The Access to Opportunities project, and its dedicated Travel Advisors, helps residents in South Yorkshire in a number of ways. These include advice on journey planning, access to low cost loans of motor scooters from the Wheels 2 Work scheme, and enhanced bus services in the Dearne Valley area.
This project is supported financially by the European Union and has attracted £2.38 million of investment from the European Regional Development Fund as part of Europe’s support for the region’s economic development through the Yorkshire and Humber ERDF Programme.
Additional financial support has also been provided by the Coalfields Regeneration Trust and the Local Transport Plan.
If the Access to Opportunities project has helped you get to work, training or education, and you would like to win the fantastic laptop, SYPTE would love to hear from you. All you have to do is complete an entry form, telling us how the scheme has helped you. Entry forms are available at both your local Travel Information Centre and online at travelsouthyorkshire.com/work
As well as a laptop, entrants are also in with the chance of winning one of two monthly TravelMaster tickets worth over £84.
