  • Patronage is the total number of passengers carried by the specified mode of transport over the given time period.

  • Punctuality relates to the proportion of scheduled journeys operating to time
     - Bus departing within a window of 1 minute early to 5 minutes late for bus
     - Tram departing within a within a window of -15 seconds to plus 3 minutes
     - Trains arriving at destination within 4 minutes 59 seconds of planned arrival time
  • Reliability is the percentage of scheduled journeys that actually operate

    - N.B Rail relates to 12 periods in 2016/17 and is the number of services not affected by a full or part cancellation 
  • Customer satisfaction figures are obtained through our Passenger Satisfaction Travel Survey, which is an independent survey undertaken on behalf of SYPTE (November 2016)
