Travel South Yorkshire has teamed up with East Midlands Trains to offer passengers £5 off their next train journey to London.

The special discount is available on East Midlands Trains journeys to or from London St Pancras that are booked online at eastmidlandstrains.co.uk/moneyoff before 31 May.

Passengers can use the offer to travel from key stations on the East Midlands Trains London route, including Sheffield, Chesterfield, Derby and Nottingham.

South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive Director of Customer Service, David Young, said: “We’re pleased to be working in partnership with our colleagues at East Midlands Trains not only in helping fund the second train per hour to London, but to jointly offer passengers this special discount.

“With two services an hour to London from Sheffield, and journey times starting from just 2 hours 5 minutes, travelling by train is a cost-effective, time efficient and stress-free choice for getting to the capital this summer.”

To claim the discount, passengers must fill in a discount form to access a one-off code by email to use when making their booking. Terms and conditions apply.
