Cancer Research UK Race for Life participants can get free bus travel to and from their race event in South Yorkshire thanks to a special offer from Travel South Yorkshire and First.

The offer is valid for Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and Clumber Park race participants that are wearing their entry number and show it to their driver when they get on any First bus.

Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Since it began, over six million participants have raised over £457 million, walking, jogging or running for Cancer Research UK.

Travel South Yorkshire has teamed up with Hallam FM to get as many women to take part in this year’s events as possible, and to encourage them to plan their journey there by public transport at travelsouthyorkshire.com

Free parking will also be made available for race participants at Rotherham Interchange on 17 June and at Sheffield Park & Ride sites on 15 July.
