School's out for SummerSaver

22 July 2014

School and college leavers can make the most of summer in South Yorkshire thanks to the TravelMaster SummerSaver ticket – giving the chance to travel all summer long for just 65p a day.

The ticket offers unlimited travel on any bus, train or tram in the county from Monday 28 July to Sunday 7 September for just £26.

And the SummerSaver can go on saving you money even after that. If you trade your ticket in before the end of September you can get a great deal on TravelMaster18 or TravelMaster20 tickets - the tickets for 16 to 20-year-olds which give you unlimited travel on any bus, train or tram anywhere in South Yorkshire.

By handing in your old SummerSaver ticket you can get £3.50 off a 7-day ticket, or £11.25 off a 28-day ticket. To buy a TravelMaster SummerSaver just hand in your Mega Travel or 16-18 Student Travel Pass.

SummerSaver tickets can be bought from Travel Information Centres at Arundel Gate, Sheffield, Meadowhall, Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham Interchanges on or after 28 July 2014. You will need a recent photograph.

TravelMaster Chairman, Duncan Roberts, said: “The TravelMaster SummerSaver ticket is fantastic value at just 65p a day for unlimited bus and tram travel in Sheffield.

“Young people are the adult fare paying passengers of the future and so we are delighted to be able to help them make the most of the summer and the city, and all the great things it has to offer by using public transport.”
