I am interested in applying for a position within your organisation, can I submit a CV?
Unfortunately we do not accept CVs, to ensure our process is fair and in line with our Recruitment and Selection Process we ask all candidates to complete an application form. This is available by one of the following methods: 1) Register and login to the Careers Centre and click apply. 2) Downloading the form from our website. 3) Email requesting an application pack to the Recruitment team at email@example.com (we aim to respond within 24 hours). 4) Ringing the Recruitment Team on 0114 22 11 223 and leaving a message (we aim to respond within 48 hours).
How do I sign the form when it is in an electronic format?
Unless you have an electronic signature to insert, we ask that you type in your full name. If you are then selected for interview, you will be asked to sign your form at this point. We do ask you not to sign any other part of your application form, only where it states you to.
Where do I send my completed form?
You can send your completed application form back to us by one of three ways: Online - the easiest way to return your completed application form is on the website. Email - if you have downloaded the form you can email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Post - alternatively, your completed application can be posted to SYPTE, PO Box 801, Sheffield, S2 5YT. Please note your application must be received by the closing date.
Will I receive feedback on my interview if not successful?
If you were unsuccessful after your interview we aim to contact you within five working days to inform you of the outcome. Feedback will then be provided by the relevant Human Resources team member. Please note this may take up to 10 working days.
If I have been successful at interview what happens next?
All our offers are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, references, and where appropriate an occupational health (medical) screening and CRB checks. Initially you will receive a provisional offer letter. Once all clearances have been received your full job description and terms and conditions of employment will be sent to you.
If I have not been short listed for interview can you tell me why?
Due to the high volumes of applications we do not contact each applicant individually. However, if you have not been contacted after six weeks you can contact us for feedback on your application form. Feedback will then be provided by the relevant Human Resources team member, please note this may take up to 10 working days.
