Stagecoach Supertram, SYPTE and Tramlines have issued travel advice for visitors to the Tramlines festival taking place this weekend (Friday 23 to Sunday 25 July). A normal tram service is planned to run throughout the day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the area so people can travel to the venue and others can make their journeys as normal.
Ahead of the lifting of Government Covid restrictions, on Monday 19 July, South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive (SYPTE) is issuing travel advice and reminding customers that face coverings must continue to be worn in bus stations and interchanges. Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead, avoid travelling on busy routes or during busy periods, and walk and cycle where possible.
