How we work with community rail groups

SYPTE supports, funds and initiates community rail projects across South Yorkshire. Community rail groups are run by volunteers, keen to improve local rail stations for the benefit of their community. This work is a key focus for SYPTE’s rail team. We run regular workshops to bring community rail groups together, to share ideas, experiences and successes.

If you would like to form a group for your local station, please get in touch at and we’ll help you to get started and access the support available.
