Passengers are warned of possible disruption to South Yorkshire public transport services from winter weather.
Public transport users making essential journeys are being urged to plan ahead and check before they travel as winter weather could bring short notice changes or cancellations to South Yorkshire services.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for snow in Yorkshire and the Humber.

A South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive spokesperson, said: “Winter weather could see South Yorkshire public transport services subject to short notice changes or cancellations. With weather warnings in place across the region, we’re encouraging passengers, where possible, to stay at home and to stay safe.
“While every effort will be made to keep disruption to services to a minimum, where it is safe to do so, people that need to use public transport for essential reasons should take extra care, check for updates and plan ahead.”
Government advice during national lockdown restrictions is to stay at home where possible and only travel for essential reasons, including for work, education or to buy essential goods.
Do not use public transport if you or someone in your household or support bubble has symptoms of COVID-19 – a new continuous cough, loss of sense of taste or smell or a high temperature – or if you have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.
