Community Transport bus services are available for people who have difficulty using the mainstream public transport network. These services use fully accessible vehicles and can take you directly from your own home to places around your local area, like supermarkets or town centres.
Community Transport services are subsidised by the local authority. With budgets being put under pressure, a consultation was conducted in the summer of 2018 to explore future options for these services.
The purpose of the consultation was to understand how customers use Community Transport and which services were the most important to them. The review helped us to understand if and how any users would be affected by future policy decisions.
