Current Vacancies

We are currently going through a period of Integration, which will see South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive and the Mayoral Combined Authority Executive come together as a single entity known as the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). We expect the organisations to be fully integrated by April 2022 and most jobs advertised here already reflect that and are offered by the new South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority.

Until we’re fully integrated, we’re making clear in our adverts which jobs have different terms and conditions.

This is a really exciting time to be joining the Mayoral Combined Authority as we continue to support the development of our region and make South Yorkshire a great place to work and live.

Our current vacancies are listed below. Before applying for a job at SYMCA or SYPTE, please read through A Career with SYPTE.  You will also find guidance notes to help you complete your application form on page 14 of Building Your Career.  You can find the MCA vacancies page at https://sheffieldcityregion.org.uk/about-us-governance-policy/work-for-us/

If you are looking for work experience or a student placement, please email recruitment@sypte.co.uk telling us about yourself, why you would like work experience with SYPTE and when you are available.
